We're here!
Now, I'm not going to keep this up... writing so often on the blog.. but this is a momentous occasion. We survived 22 hours on 2 planes and have finally arrived in New Zealand! Meg and Hayley picked us up at the airport and took us to their lovely house where we met the adorable Grace (doggy). Meg, Hayley and Grace have been the hostesses with the mostess so far - thanks ladies! We were hard-core yesterday... with extreme jet-lag we managed to go to see some bands play in the park near Auckland Uni. I even managed 3 (teeny) beers. We could no longer form sentences when were invited for a curry (yes, I was too tired for a curry) and we ended up in bed, dead to the world, by 8pm. 4am saw us wide awake eating toast and drinking tea... then back to sleep the sleep of all sleeps. Today is the first day in ages I haven't woken up thinking "I must do this, and this, and this..." Am so proud of myself for finally taking the plunge. This next year is going to be great, I just have a feeling!
My sympathy goes out to all of you back home who will be waking up to Monday morning at work. Sorry guys!

Hello matey chops!!! Well done for being so brave. Have fun, and above all chill out. You are now in the big wide world, but doing what you want to do. Enjoy the adventure. Bertie & George say "woof" and are still sorry about the Doc Martins, although they were very tasty.
Love to you both, Caroline T xx

xx-Fx

Hey Faye and Pete,
Shame we couldn't make it to the open house do, the phone call from Si was inspiring to say the least!!
Glad to hear you arrived safe and well in NZ and already went to see bands!
Aok here, recorded an EP (well 5 tracks of backline, lead guitars and vocals to follow) last weekend. Hoping to (finally) get a band website sorted and post the tunes there.
Have a great time and rock on Tommy, Beat

I only have a few words....I am so jealous. The weather is crap here, it's cold, the summer is a million miles away (or as many miles as it is between England and Australia) and we have no chances of winning Eurovision this year. Good grief, it's a rap for god's sake. Apart from that you're not missing anything. xx Rob W
